PLEASE! Explain Why I Should Use Inbound Marketing? – SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

SEO and Back-Links

After you have a world class website, it’s important that there is work done to ensure that the right people find it when they are searching for your products or services online.  Search engine optimization, or SEO, is a must if you want to drive results with Inbound Marketing.  In fact, almost everything that is considered “inbound marketing” is ultimately for the purpose of SEO.

An ongoing SEO program is intended to drive as much traffic as possible to your website through techniques that move your website’s position higher in the search results for your chosen keywords.

SEO is complex and technical, and there are many specialists who ONLY do this type of work; these link builders are experts in optimizing SEO. There is much that can be done within your website that makes it more search engine friendly; but that’s not enough. SEO is never “complete”; because even after you’ve achieved top rank for your keywords, there will be a constant tug of war with competitors and the search engines to keep your site at the top. The results of an SEO program should be continually monitored and analyzed so your site eventually achieves the highest search rank possible for your chosen keywords, and then maintains that position.

The ultimate goal of SEO would be to “own” the first page of Google results for your main keywords.  In other words, when someone searches for “most excellent widget,” (or whatever your keyword phrase is) the results that come up include your website, social media pages, some of your blog posts … basically any content you’ve optimized that contain those keywords.  Did you know that over 94% of all people never look past the first page of search results?  Imagine if that first page were entirely populated with links that led back to your website?

The cost of an ongoing SEO program will depend upon how competitive your chosen keywords are.  For instance, the keyword “photograhy” is going to have a much higher search volume than a phrase that is more specific to one of your product lines, such as “houston wedding photography.”  The more search volume, the more work to move your site to top rank.  Most industrial companies will find if they work with an SEO specialist and pinpoint the keyword phrases that are most likely to bring them qualified traffic, the cost per year is much less than just about any other ongoing traditional marketing tactic, especially print advertising and trade shows.

Reason #3 why industrial companies should integrate Inbound Marketing into their marketing plans: it is extremely cost-effective.

Marketects was founded in 1999 by Kerry O’Malley, a proven marketing communications professional in international, manufacturing companies. Working on the “other side of the desk,” she hired ad agencies to manage her employers’ advertising and P/R programs. Frustrated over the lack of attention and level of enthusiasm she was looking for in the marketing agencies she worked with, Kerry realized that there was a definite need for a full-service marketing firm that specialized in working with industrial companies. She resolved that her clients would always receive the highest level of service possible and never feel like the last kid chosen for the team.
